Aki_Kaze

Oraya Tancharoensap, known as Aki_Kaze, is a Thai novelist. She debuted in March 2009 with the book title: I'M SORRY ขอโทษนะที่รัก แต่ฉันยังรักเธอ with 2beloved publishing and continued to work with the publisher until 2016.
In September 2016, she started publishing her book as a self-published author and has worked as a freelancer.

Pre-debut

Aki_Kaze once wanted to become a cartoonist; however, her drawing skills couldn't catch up with her imagination, hence she started writing instead and fell in love with it at the age of 11.
When she was in her freshman year, she went to a bookstore and saw books from 2beloved Publishing and decided to submit her manuscript which was accepted. Due to mutual agreement that manuscript wasn't published but her next manuscript was printed in 2009.

Dealing with writer's block

After writing novels for several years, Aki_Kaze started to question herself and wonder how long she could continue this path. She decided to challenge herself and gain more knowledge by applying for an MA in Creative Writing at Teesside University.
Throughout the course, she rediscovered the spark and joy of writing. She had the opportunity to study Forensic and Crime Scene Investigation, which helped her write more effectively.
She graduated with an MA in Creative Writing with Merit in 2018.

Reach more readers

Aki_Kaze is interested in translating her books into various languages to reach more readers around the globe.
In 2024, she attended TIBE2024 as one of her books (DOWNFALL) was displayed at the Thai Pavilion.
She participated in business matching and pitching at the rights fair as much as she could.
